Michel lei Mong (founder)
Before mountain biking dominated the off-road cycling radar a young Michel lei Mong was constantly snapping BMX bottom brackets. Feeling a deficit of quality bikes and components to feed his passion, Michel designed his first bicycle parts.
“I wake up in the morning wanting to always build a better bike." - Michel lei Mong
His drive to innovate led Michel from that first patent to founding Fem bike in 1989, officially incorporating his first bicycle manufacturing company one year later.
As the mountain bike industry flourished during the late 90’s, sponsorship dollars increased in tow. Soon manufacturers were fielding large roster of racers to promote their latest designs.
